USDA Nutrition Programs

Windward Nazarene Academy participates in the USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). The program is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and child care institutions. It provides funding for preschool snacks and lunch as well as snacks in the aftercare program for elementary students that are nutritionally balanced.

The assistance from the program helps to subsidize the cost of the school’s daily lunch offerings.  In order to maximize the amount of funding that the school receives, parents are encouraged to fill out and submit an application for free and reduced meals (click on the links below).  Both forms must be completed and submitted in order to qualify for the program.  Please contact the school office if you have any questions.
